The project is about supporting minority groups and integrating them into the local community. We would like to create a network of minorities, institutions, religious organizations, representatives of the authorities etc. and other groups relevant to the local community.
Suitably prepared social educators from the Ukrainian or Muslim minority will integrate the local communities around issues important for them in five selected Polish cities. From the very beginning, educators will include minority representatives into all activities.
Working together we would like to initiate a process that should lead to a stronger social inclusion of the minorities in the Polish society at the local level and to their empowerment. Educators will also gather information about the needs and problems of the minorities. All observations will be collected in a report that will be shared with authorities, organizations and others.
Participation in the project will also take the Society for Anti-Discrimination Education (TEA) and the Czulent Association, which will support the project with specialist knowledge and experience. We wish that the joint action of all partners will give us the opportunity to get to know each other better, to recognize our capabilities, to understand the way and the scope of action, so that we can take new
initiatives. Our goal is also to strengthen the Coalition giving it knowledge and tools useful in future cooperation.
The project is implemented from August 2017 to March 2018
