Recommendations for updating the \u201cOpen Krak\u00f3w\u201d programme \u2013 How to build a truly inclusive city<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

How can we create a city that not only \u201cintegrates,\u201d but truly includes all residents\u2014regardless of their origin, migration experience, or identity? This publication was developed to answer that question in a practical way. Prepared by the Jewish Czulent Association in cooperation with social and institutional partners, it presents a set of concrete recommendations for Krak\u00f3w. It is based on the experiences of local residents, minority organizations, and officials\u2014showing how to design urban policies that effectively respond to contemporary challenges. This is a tool for local governments, decision-makers, and public institutions that aim to implement systemic solutions based on data, dialogue, and collaboration. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is a publication that begins with listening \u2013 and leads to change.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The recommendations were developed through a participatory process involving workshops, interviews, analyses, and consultation meetings with members of minority groups, migrants, and representatives of municipal institutions.As a result, the document is not a theoretical study, but a response to real needs and experiences \u2013 both of those who create policies and those who are directly affected by them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From integration to inclusion \u2013 A shift in perspective<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

One of the key conclusions of the publication is the need to move from thinking in terms of \u201cintegration\u201d to an approach based on inclusion. This shift assumes shared responsibility \u2013 on the part of both institutions and communities \u2013 and treats diversity as a resource rather than a challenge. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Municipial policies as a system of interconnected vessels. The publication shows that effective actions for equality and safety cannot be fragmented. That is why we propose a horizontal approach \u2013 linking different areas of urban policy, from education and the labor market, through housing and health, to safety and culture. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is precisely at this level that the Jewish Association Czulent identifies the greatest gaps \u2013 and proposes solutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
