{"id":7927,"date":"2025-08-05T13:55:03","date_gmt":"2025-08-05T11:55:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/czulent.pl\/legal-interventions-targeting-fundraising-campaigns-that-promote-antisemitic-content-and-holocaust-denial\/"},"modified":"2026-04-09T12:26:02","modified_gmt":"2026-04-09T10:26:02","slug":"legal-interventions-targeting-fundraising-campaigns-that-promote-antisemitic-content-and-holocaust-denial","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/czulent.pl\/en\/legal-interventions-targeting-fundraising-campaigns-that-promote-antisemitic-content-and-holocaust-denial\/","title":{"rendered":"Legal interventions targeting fundraising campaigns that promote antisemitic content and Holocaust denial."},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><\/p>\n\n<p>As part of our work to combat antisemitism and safeguard the memory of the Holocaust, the Jewish Association Czulent undertakes legal action in relation to crowdfunding platforms where fundraising campaigns promote antisemitic content, reinforce prejudice, and deliberately deny established historical facts about the Holocaust.<\/p>\n\n<p>The fundraising campaigns we have identified\u2014published on platforms such as Zrzutka.pl and Pomagam.pl\u2014seek to finance: <\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>events and campaigns that seek to undermine the responsibility of the perpetrators of the crimes in Jedwabne,<br\/><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>films and commentaries that disseminate historical falsehoods,<br\/><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the activities of groups linked to violence motivated by national or ethnic hatred,<br\/><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>media content promoting Holocaust denial and conspiracy theories.<br\/><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>In many cases, such fundraising campaigns are used to <strong>finance criminal activity<\/strong> and to <strong>disseminate unlawful content<\/strong>, including material that may violate Article 55 of the Act on the Institute of National Remembrance, which criminalises the denial of Nazi crimes, including the Holocaust. <\/p>\n\n<p>Wyst\u0105pili\u015bmy do operator\u00f3w platform crowdfundingowych, wzywaj\u0105c do natychmiastowego usuni\u0119cia wskazanych zbi\u00f3rek zgodnie z <strong>Art. 16<\/strong> <strong>Digital Services Act \u2013 DSA<\/strong>. In the absence of a response, we have submitted formal  <strong>complaints to the Digital Services Coordinator (the President of the Office of Electronic Communications) <\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<p>Our actions form part of <strong>strategic litigation<\/strong>: they go beyond individual cases and aim to drive lasting systemic change.
