Krakow Women’s Trail.”<\/h2>\n\n\n

The \u201cKrakow Women\u2019s Trail\u201d project is an educational and research initiative carried out by the Jewish Association Czulent in 2009\u20132010, as a continuation of the project \u201cPolish Women, Jewish Women \u2013 Krakow Emancipation Activists.\u201d Its aim was to restore the memory of women connected with Krakow who\u2014regardless of their social, cultural, or religious background\u2014co-created the history of the city and played a significant role in emancipation processes. The project addressed the problem of women\u2019s invisibility in official historical narratives, textbooks, and city guides, which often overlook their contributions to social development and the struggle for equality. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Education on equality, democracy, and women\u2019s heritage<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Dzia\u0142ania realizowane w ramach projektu koncentrowa\u0142y si\u0119 na popularyzacji wiedzy o historii kobiet oraz ich roli w budowaniu demokracji i spo\u0142ecze\u0144stwa obywatelskiego. Poprzez dzia\u0142ania edukacyjne i badawcze projekt ukazywa\u0142 walk\u0119 kobiet o prawa wyborcze, dost\u0119p do edukacji i rynku pracy, a tak\u017ce ich indywidualne strategie prze\u0142amywania ograniczaj\u0105cych norm spo\u0142ecznych. \u201eKrakowski Szlak Kobiet\u201d wzmacnia\u0142 \u015bwiadomo\u015b\u0107 spo\u0142eczn\u0105 w zakresie r\u00f3wno\u015bci p\u0142ci oraz podkre\u015bla\u0142 znaczenie do\u015bwiadcze\u0144 emancypacyjnych jako integralnej cz\u0119\u015bci historii Polski. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Restoring the memory of women and the history of emancipation in Krakow<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The project contributed to recovering and disseminating knowledge about the forgotten heroines of Krakow\u2019s history, incorporating them into the shared memory of the city\u2019s residents. Its significance was also recognized in the public sphere\u2014in 2010, the \u201cKrakow Women\u2019s Trail\u201d received the Kulturalne Odloty award from Gazeta Wyborcza in the Event of the Year category. The project stands as an example of effectively combining historical research, equality education, and social activities, strengthening the organization\u2019s position as an expert in the field of women\u2019s heritage and anti-discrimination education. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n
