Advocacy Hub – a consortium of minority organizations
The project “Advocacy Hub – a consortium of minority oganizations” was an initiative of the Jewish Association Czulent aimed at building and developing an informal network of cooperation among organizations representing minorities in Poland. Its key objective was to strengthen the position of minority organizations as partners in decision-making processes and to enhance their effectiveness in advocacy activities, with particular emphasis on countering illegal hate speech.
Capacity building, cooperation, and impact on public policies
The project focused on strengthening the advocacy capacities of six invited minority organizations and building sustainable cross-sectoral relationships. The platform provided a space for the exchange of knowledge, experience, and good practices, as well as for developing joint positions and recommendations. An important element of the activities was enhancing the credibility of non-governmental organizations in the eyes of policymakers and increasing their real influence on shaping public policies related to the security and rights of minorities.
Responding to illegal content and implementing the Digital Services Act (DSA)
Participants of the hub are actively engaged in the implementation of the EU Digital Services Act (DSA), particularly in developing standards for monitoring and reporting illegal hate speech online. The project culminated in a nationwide conference dedicated to the DSA, during which organizations presented a joint approach and recommendations on responding to illegal content in the digital space.
