Antisemitic incidents in 2024. Study of the experiences of the Jewish community.

The publication prepared by the Jewish Association Czulent is a report for 2024, presenting the current state of antisemitism in Poland based on actual reports and monitoring data. The document provides an understanding of the scale of the phenomenon, its forms, and the social context in which it occurs—serving as an important tool for institutions, organizations, and all individuals involved in countering hate.

The report is based on reports submitted through the platform zglosantysemityzm.pl, which enables the secure documentation of incidents and their analysis over time. This makes it possible not only to record cases but also to identify trends—particularly in the online space, where antisemitism increasingly takes on new, less obvious forms.

A significant element of the 2024 report is the clear highlighting of violence against women as a component of the phenomenon of antisemitism. The analysis shows that many incidents are intersectional in nature—combining prejudice based on origin with sexism, utilizing the language of objectification, humiliation, and threats. Women, especially those active in public life, become targets of attacks that are not only hateful in nature but also aim to exclude them from social life.

The report also highlights the role of new technologies and social media, where hate speech spreads rapidly, often utilizing memes, irony, and contextual symbols. This demonstrates that contemporary antisemitism is evolving—and recognizing it requires new tools and constant monitoring.

The publication includes data analysis, a description of the methodology, and social context, allowing for a better understanding of the mechanisms behind the emergence and escalation of hate. This knowledge can be utilized in educational, systemic, and intervention-based efforts.

This is yet another example of the Czulent approach—combining data, technology, and community experiences to effectively respond to contemporary forms of hate.

If you have experienced, witnessed, or are aware of an antisemitic incident—report it at zglosantysemityzm.pl.
