We participated in a meeting of non-governmental organizations affiliated with the Coalition for Equal Opportunities, together with lawyers working within the Polish Society of Anti-Discrimination Law (PTPA) and the Pro Bono for Equality program, which took place on 1 March.

The meeting was attended by representatives of bar associations and legal counsel chambers. The meeting was related to a project implemented by PTPA, aimed at building platforms for cooperation between local legal self-governments and non-governmental organizations working for equality across Poland.

During the meeting, we discussed the challenges faced by non-governmental organizations and the possible support from local bar associations and the legal community.

PTPA presented best practices of legal self-governments that are already engaged in cooperation with non-governmental organizations.
