Due to the COVID-19 epidemic, which affects the operations of civil society organizations, the Financial Mechanisms Office in Brussels has agreed to waive the requirement for own contribution in thematic and sectoral projects funded under the Active Citizens Program. Planned activities may be 100% funded by the grant awarded under the Program.

Currently, there is a competition for sectoral projects, within which preliminary applications must be submitted by 12:00 PM on June 30, 2020.

The second competition for thematic projects, according to the information on the website, will be announced in November 2020.
