Securing Our Community, Protecting Our Democracy: Combating Antisemitism Through an Integrated Approach to Advocacy and Security

Antisemitism poses a serious threat to democracy, public safety, and political stability, affecting the Jewish community and organizations. The new initiative of the Jewish Association Czulent focuses on combating this threat through actions in the field of digital technology. Our priority is to create a safer digital space for the Jewish community in Poland.
By combining legal knowledge, daily internet monitoring, and advocacy experience, we conducted an analysis of the current situation, comparing Polish and international IT services.
As part of this project, we examined the implementation of rules on selected social media platforms and websites, particularly in terms of combating illegal content—specifically antisemitic hate speech. We conducted the evaluation based primarily on the Polish Penal Code, EU regulations regarding digital services (Digital Services Act / DSA), and the operational definition of antisemitism adopted by the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA).
We present the results of our work in the form of reports available in both Polish and English.
