Institutional development of Jewish organizations. Cooperation with public administration.
As part of the implementation of the project “A Book of Good Practices: Activities for National and Ethnic Minority Organizations and Foreigners” The Jewish Association Czulent gathered in-depth information on the needs of minority organizations. The analysis of the collected surveys revealed, in particular, a limited level of knowledge regarding the support opportunities offered by public administration—both in terms of institutional development and the implementation of targeted projects.
In response to the identified needs, the Association developed and delivered a series of training sessions aimed at strengthening the capacities of minority organizations and increasing their effectiveness in advocacy and project activities.
Training participants gained practical knowledge in areas including:
- establishing cooperation with local government units, including identifying relevant departments, institutions, and designated officials
- preparing project proposals – from the concept stage, through the most common mistakes, to key risks and challenges
- building the organization’s image as a credible and professional partner in participatory processes for an open society
- applying proven models of action and good practices in working with public administration
The implementation of the training activities constituted an important element in strengthening the capacity of minority organizations and building lasting relationships between the social sector and public institutions, with the active involvement of the Jewish Association Czulent as the initiator and leader of the process.
